We have the holidays, weekends, and unexpected time to ourselves, but let's be honest - we're usually spending our personal time doing the things we think we're supposed to be doing, not the things we would actually want to do if we had the freedom to spend hour personal hours exactly how we want.
Then there are those pesky things known as vacation time and money. One week long vacation can leave a person with only a few days of vacation, or perhaps that expensive trip to Disney or Europe just isn't in the cards quite yet. You need to keep saving, but you also need a vacation.
If that's how you're feeling rest assured that you are not alone, my friend. That's where a staycation comes in. A day (or two!) off to do whatever it is that YOU want to do.
For some that time would be used outside doing things like hiking, skiing, or simply soaking up the sun on the beach.
For others it would be curling up with a good book, catching up on podcasts or binging on that Netflix show that everyone else has watched but them.
Sometimes, all we need is a day off. A day that we turn on our out-of-office, ignore social media, and truly spend our time doing what we want to do.
If you caught my blog post about 40 Staycation Ideas that you've already got a taste of the many things you can do on a staycation, but now I've expanded on that. I've compiled a list of 100 Staycation Ideas. Whether you have kiddos, are a couple, or looking to do something solo, this list is for you!
Download this list and keep it on hand for the next time you just need to unplug, unwind, and do something for you (and the family!). Heck, you could even find some really fun ideas for a Friday night or weekend!
Happy staycationing my friends!
